Fredo is a young high school boy who loves to play Pokémon cards with his friends. In fact, Pokémon cards have been so popular at his school that for generations there has been a running club best known as by peers as "The Pokémon Card League". For each card type, there is a club, with a leader and players that stand beside them. Fredo never considered taking on the league, but now he's a junior in high school, if he doesn't challenge the league soon he'll never have to opportunity to so do again! With some convincing from his friend, Mass, Fredo will step up to the challenge to get through the Pokémon Card League! But, it won't be a road without hoops and obstacles along the way. Fredo with have to edit and update his deck along the way if he wants to beat the league.

Kai Gilling, a transgender wanderer traversing the American West, has to trek hundreds of miles in his beat up Jeep, in order to reach an urban legend rumored to be the only settlement still thriving. *********** It's a Wasteland, baby. In the uncomfortably not-so-distant future, the world has been ravaged by natural disasters, water shortages, and public apathy. People like Kai Gilling have flocked to the desert (once known as the American West) in hopes of finding a better life. After picking up a pair of siblings, the three come across a strange woman who claims to have a map to Arcadia, an urban legend rumored to be the only city thriving in the wreckage of the old world. Will they keep their hearts set on an oasis in the desert--even if it's just a mirage? Or will they be tempted by something else
