A ten-year-old girl named Esmae dreams to become a real fairy, to live in the woods, talk to animals and to never have to worry about the loud cafeteria again. Instead of being a fairy Esmae is in fifth grade and struggling to live in a neurotypical world that's not made for some who's autistic, but maybe making a new friend they can help each other while living like a fairy.
