With 2 brothers, 2 adopted younger twin sisters, her aunt, her cousin and her parents living all in one little house in buckhead, you can only imagine how difficult it must be to survive after the capital shut down. Not to mention the fact that being considered a freak due to your government deciding to use you as an experiment, you end up having no choice but to figure out how to deal with the side effects. After the capital shut down, so did everything else, leaving everyone with no food, no money, no home, yet he's always watching.
