Mila isn't looking forward to her summer at the lake. It's going to be her first time going there since her grandma died, which adds to the negatives of this trip. But her summer takes a turn for the worst when she stumbles upon a boy at the book store nearby and gets tangled up in his sheets. Brendon is mysterious, handsome, and stubborn. But, she enjoys spending time with him and sees that he can be kind, sweet, and caring. The days seem to pass by very quickly, and she knows her days with him are numbered. She'll be home at the end of summer, and he'll be staying there. Will this be Mila's summer full of love? Or will it be the summer of heartbreak?
