When Mabel and Dipper where little everything was fine. That is untill the world got involved. When Mabel became the social lovable bi butterfly and Dipper the Awkward nerd who turned out to be gay, thier mother and father disapproved. Since Mabel was bi and had only brought home boyfriend's they believed their was still hope for 'saving her,' while Dipper was a lost cause. This had caused them to mentally abuse dipper for being the 'disappoinment' of the two. Mabel was oblivious to the matter and had left Dipper to deal with the pain on his own, suffering from depression, bullying, and the terrors of his mind. When thier parents allowed them to travel to Gravity Falls for a summer, both were exited. Mabel because they get to go somewhere unknown and Dipper because the he got to escape the judgemental eyes of society. When thier trip turns into a nightmare of a summer,(litterally)as a dream demon(who we all know and love)Bill Cipher puts them through hell, *Insert Gravity Falls plot* Both Mabel and Dipper left with happy memories a new home and sadly, mental scars. In came highschool and their parents not wanting thier grades to drop from distractions such as Gravity Falls, don't let them return until they are 19 and out of highschool. Even then they are reluctant to let them go as they fear what it will do to Mabel's mental health, overall they are 19 and adults, so, they return, and they don't seem to be the only ones coming back. A certain nightmare also seems to have returned from the mindscape...but oddly this time...he seems...more like...a dream?
