Set in the year 3037, there are only six hundred known squids left in the oceans -- each breed having both a female and a male due to careful preservation techniques. After successfully breeding the last two Vampire Squids, Musham and Liros, scientists noticed something strange begins to happen to Musham. As they continue to keep her under careful observation, she suddenly vanishes. With only a few months until her eggs hatch, and she inevitably perishes, scientists must race against time to try and find the eggs to bring them home safely.

This story concept is based on a Tumblr post made by "maximum-overboner" (yes that's actually their username) and the names were randomly generated on the website "Fantasy Name Generators". Some details may be changed due to the plot and not wanting to copy this dudes entire story.
