Society has changed. Humans, have changed. Drastically. They've become stronger, faster, and are doing things that we could only imagine before.
But sometimes the power will go to their heads. They change, mentally. The worst can appear and they break people. And with others experimenting on the stronger, the actions of one could change all of humanity. But are they even in the wrong?
Jason works in a police station that doubles as a research facility for studying the effects of the 'altered'. He himself has inhuman strength. His life is pretty great aside from the concerning web of lies spiraling around him, and only one person is to blame for it.
Alyssa Charles works in the lab with Jason, she makes little toyish inventions and tests them on him. She knows who's lying. And why. But she's hiding things too. And people could die because of it.
I can't decide on a name so the cover's unfinished, suggestions are welcome.

She ran when the troops had found her. She gave one babe to Harley Quinn and she gave the other one to Batman. Few years later, two orphan girls had different powers, hair style and color, different clothes and different sides but they had the same last super names when they come out at night or day to save or destroy the world. Brainiac had try to find these girls in years for his master plan to work he even had to push it aside because of that. Will they ever work together or fight? Will They ever know each other? The young hero will go through many obstacles that will define who he is but it is how he will handle him and how he rises above before falling into complete darkness. Will the people he meet help change him for the better and help him live up to his father legacy? Or will he seek out vengeance for his father by any means necessary even if he has to take a dark path and abandon everything? (Just to let you all know beforehand this takes place mostly in the DC universe with Spider-Man characters and some other Marvel characters. But without the hindrance of money problems, the Durands move to big city Toronto in hopes of a better life-and the lesser chance of someone finding out Cecil's supernatural callings. They never expected things to get worse as Cecil is targeted by a villainous character and his organization for her unnatural skills. Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind.
