A few weeks after her nasty breakup with Damien, Kawaii Chan has become obsessed with her cafe and its success. Business is booming and people all over the country come to try her cakes. Kawaii~Chan is as happy as can be, always smiling and laughing, no matter what. Everyone, even her closest friends, think that she is living her best life. Well, there is one person who can tell that it's all an act...

After having to let one of her employees go, Kawaii Chan scrambles to find a replacement but has terrible luck and can't find anyone acceptable for her high standards. If she can't find someone soon, it could put an even bigger time strain on her.

Zane has been eyeing a mint edition Pinkie Cake for years now and he finally gets it within his grasp. Unfortunately for Zane, that grasp is Garroth's and he won't ever get it unless he works in Kawaii~Chan's cafe for at least 2 months.

Kawaii~Chan, socialising and waking up early; 3 things Zane absolutely loathed, however he knew it would be worth it in the end.

As well as Zane, Kawaii~Chan hated the idea. She always thought that Zane was too intimidating and sarcastic to ever be a good employee and she dreaded every minute she had to spend with him.

One day in the cafe, though, Zane sees something he shouldn't of and the game of cat and mouse begins.
