This story is based in the shadow world with everyone the same as the books. I have changed some details such as Sebastian and Jonathan are different people ( Jonathan's good Sebastians bad)

Clary Fray was born into a family of immense power in the shadow world, that being the Morgensterns. But what would happen when tragedy strikes and her entire family is brutally murdered apart from her and her brother Jonathan. They have to change their name and leave there old life behind in order to find their family's murders. But what if there past life never left. What if the shadows of the past are slowly creeping up on them day by day.

Some people hide their scars well and some don't, this is the case of Jace Herondale plagued with the loss of his family and being adopted into a happy loving family which he wishes he'd been able to have. But when clary and her brother turn up he changes. Will Clary be able to open Jace up to the light, or will they both drown in the darkness of their past.
