This story is based in the shadow world with everyone the same as the books. I have changed some details such as Sebastian and Jonathan are different people ( Jonathan's good Sebastians bad)

Clary Fray was born into a family of immense power in the shadow world, that being the Morgensterns. But what would happen when tragedy strikes and her entire family is brutally murdered apart from her and her brother Jonathan. They have to change their name and leave there old life behind in order to find their family's murders. But what if there past life never left. What if the shadows of the past are slowly creeping up on them day by day.

Some people hide their scars well and some don't, this is the case of Jace Herondale plagued with the loss of his family and being adopted into a happy loving family which he wishes he'd been able to have. But when clary and her brother turn up he changes. Will Clary be able to open Jace up to the light, or will they both drown in the darkness of their past.

I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way? On top of that horrible sundae of a life there's a cherry of danger to top it off. More and more problems pile up on her plate and she is burdened with all of it.
