Die Geschichte spielt im modern Japan in einer Welt, in der Frauen in Angst und Furcht leben. Da dort eine bösartige Regierung an der Macht ist. Ein junges Mädchen kommt an, um im Ausland zu studieren, und wird beim Eintritt in die Uni in einem bizarren Zwischenfall verwickelt.In einer Stadt ohne Bekannte betritt das Mädchen das " Cafe Mitternacht" ein mysteriöses Cafe, das exklusiv um Mitternacht öffnet.Sie lernt eine Reihe gut aussehende  Männer kennen, die in diesem Cafe als Wächter bekannt sind.Einer dieser Männer erkennt an ihrem Amulett das, dass Zeichen von Isis trägt.
Das jemand in ihrer Familie ein Wächter war, und sie beschließen , sie zu beschützen. Da die Regierung jetzt hinter ihr her ist.
Wird sie es schaffen?
