Lilac was twelve when her childhood playmate, Philip, left to seek medication in the US. He was a lanky and sick boy that Lilac adored so much. She liked him, so she promised herself to marry him someday. Unfortunately, it seemed to never happen. Because he just stopped talking to her and vanished into thin air. She assumed that either he lost the interest, or he lost the battle with cancer.

Fifteen years later, she met someone who gave her chills due to the familiarity that she felt whenever their eyes met. She thought he was someone she met somewhere-- but it wasn't the case. It wasn't just a simple familiarity. It was something else-- something like a deep connection. It was as if he belongs to her, and her to him.

But the man was the rudest person she had ever met in her life. He was devious and rough-- so she distanced herself from him. She didn't need someone who knew nothing but to yell and curse!

And yet, no matter how she distanced herself from him, the stars would always let them crossed paths. As if they were meant to make great memories together.

And the more she got to know him, the more she felt the connection with him. The bizarre familiarity was haunting her, so she did her best to learn more about him- only to get hurt by the truth.
