Der zweite Teil von „Bitte, verlass mich nicht" fängt 5 Jahre später an.
Wir haben das Jahr 2019 und Heiko und Roman sind 20 Jahre alt. Es ist das Jahr ihrer Abschiedstour von die Lochis. Heiko hat sich um 180 Grad gedreht und ist zu einem Menschen geworden, der seinem Vorgänger sehr ähnelt, den er immer verachtet hat und so nie werden wollte. Durch sein Verhalten, litt Heikos Beziehung zu Roman sehr. Auf der Tour reflektiert und verarbeitet Heiko (ungewollt) die letzten Jahre. Er hat einige Flackbacks, die in der Zeitspanne vom ersten Buch stattfanden und in den 5 Jahren danach.
Das Buch handelt von Verlust- und Zukunftsängsten. Traumata die verdrängt wurden und einen einholen. Depressionen, die hinter Aggression, Sex und Verdrängung von Gefühlen verborgen sind. Das Leben mit seinen Freude- und Schattenseiten als junger Erwachsener und den Preis, den man zahlt für Ruhm und Anerkennung.
