One Day, Day One

The summer of 1989 returns to Milca Alegria after 8 long years- parang isang malakas na agos, isang hampas ng hangin sa kanyang mga pisngi at malambot na buhangin na hahatakin siyang muli pababa. Bumalik muli ang mga alaala ng mga nagdaang taon. The memory of him is like an old replayed song from her Walkman which reminds her that one day, years back, she fell in love and she wanted to believe that he did, too.

Adrian Hidalgo is now standing a few feet away from her. It is the first time again after ages, but this time, it'll be the last... if they would let it be.
