Deep in the Meadow

This is a story based off the Hunger Games.

16 year old Mabel Maria lives a normal life in a normal town with normal people. But one day troops from an unknown country invade their land and kill the president of the US. They declared that their king, Sang Gippen, will rule. He split the states into 50 districts (not including Alaska and Hawaii) with Washington DC being the Capitol. Every year they draw one boy or girl from each district and put them in an arena to fight to the death at the Capitol.
