For years, Clancy's world only existed inside the strong, dull walls of Dema. It isn't until his 22nd year that he learns of the horrors committed within the city he serves and the dark secrets behind the law of Vialism. Feeling betrayed and seeking understanding, the fearful, timid servant joins a gang of rebels, known as the Banditos, to bravely seek the truth that's been hidden from him.
Yet his journey only grows more complicated, as factional lines aren't always black and white. As Clancy learns more about a mysterious traveler named Tyler, who is torn between the two worlds, he finds himself in the middle of an impending war. As tensions rise, the young ex-servant must rise above his fear and uncover the truth about his past, before the land and everyone within is destroyed.

I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live. Clancy, a young poet with a mysterious power, is trapped inside Dema, a walled city ruled by power-hungry bishops and a high-jacked religion. He has heard tales of a group who live outside the walls. They call for him in his dreams, but everywhere he goes, the bishops are watching. Clancy is a citizen, escapee, and an exception to every rule. Welcome to Trench. AUTHTORS NOTE! Hey friends! it's me, the author! This is a story that is LOOSLY based around some of the lore from TØP. TØP lore is the main inspiration behind this story, but I also pull from a lot of other different things and bring a lot of my own interests and passions into the mix! Anathema
Anathema: someone or something that one vehemently dislikes, an abhorrence, abomination, accursed. Someone or something consigned to damnation or destruction. Platonic Joshler Life can get pretty difficult when your only two friends are imaginary, and it's even harder when they're not exactly the most positive people on the planet. Tyler is used to that, though, and he's used to pretending they're not there when other people are around. It wasn't so bad, at first, but now that one of them is bent on getting rid of the other, he's having his doubts. Besides, there's another boy now - though Tyler's not even sure if he's real or not, either. ... *TRIGGER WARNING FOR ALMOST EVERY CHAPTER* Depression, suicide, self-harm, etc. Since they're so frequent, I will not be writing warnings during the story. The Banditos
One night, the Banditos are all by the fire, singing and chatting. Clancy catches sight of a figure walking towards the camp. In gray Dema citizen sweats. With nobody accompanying it. It's trying to walk up over the hill towards the camp. Nobody had ever seen a Dema citizen make it to the camp by themself. Then Clancy sees you collapse against the hill, and he springs into action, sprinting towards you to help while the rest of the Banditos watch with caution.Завершенная история
