When Times Don't Match

Centuries ago in a far away kingdom called Leverdon there lived a girl named Kiera, Kiera just turned eighteen and was going to join the army of her kingdom called Gerui which is located on an island near Northern Europe. Unlike other kingdoms where women were viewed as weak, this kingdom viewed them as equals. Kiera worked hard to become a knight of Gerui even though she struggled to focus throughout her training. One day while she was training, she mysteriously reappeared in another time. She ended up in New York City in 2019. Luckily, she knew English, but sadly was definitely not culturally accustomed to twenty first century America. After all, she was from 1200 A.D. and America did not exist in that time. Throughout her journey discovering this new time period, she figures out how she got here and has help from strangers. The real daunting question is will this be her new home?
