Erin Locklear is a variant, those of society blessed with superhuman capabilities. After being experimented on for years and then being sent to a mental institute to try to help him recover, Rin is recruited into a program to train variants to be heroes and special agents to aid police in busting illegal experimentations and trafficking rings. At the camp, he meets Jerich, who he slowly learns to love. After a sudden turn of events, Rin is forced to leave Jerich. Jerich doesn't know why and never gets to ask Rin. Before he gets the chance to, Rin is killed in a fight with another evil variant.
Thinking he may be crazy, Jerich still hears Rin's voice. What happens when he learns Rin is still with him? How will Rin tell his secrets without destroying his love?
