It's 2045 and Seán McLoughlin (or Jack) has started at a school for kids with powers half way through the first term.
After a worldwide nuclear war, radiation has mutated the genes in humans and now children are born either with or without powers.
Everyone is eager to train and show off their powers, but Seán refuses to use his. But when he has no choice he is forced to reveal why he never uses them.
Will everything turn out ok...
