Jack and Alice are best friends. They have known each other since secondary school. Alice certainly isn't one of those shy, quiet girls. No, she is loud, strong headed and speaks her mind. Although she isn't one of the most reserved girls you would ever meet, she, like many, still believes in true love and that her prince is out there - much to Jack's amusement.
Jack, like Alice is a strong willed person, loud, direct and honest. Their personalities are so alike and it's a wonder how they don't clash. It's better to live your life as a player than as a boyfriend or husband...Right?

When Jack meets Gabriella, his whole player lifestyle is turned upside down as he tries his hardest to get her attention. So when Jack realises that his whole player reputation is what is driving Gabriella away, he requests the help of his best friend Alice to help him change and to help him prove himself worthy of Gabriella's love and attention.
