Jack and Alice are best friends. They have known each other since secondary school. Alice certainly isn't one of those shy, quiet girls. No, she is loud, strong headed and speaks her mind. Although she isn't one of the most reserved girls you would ever meet, she, like many, still believes in true love and that her prince is out there - much to Jack's amusement.
Jack, like Alice is a strong willed person, loud, direct and honest. Their personalities are so alike and it's a wonder how they don't clash. But unlike Alice, he hates the idea of being tied down to just one person - why have one when you could go out every night and get a new one? It's better to live your life as a player than as a boyfriend or husband...Right?
Even the thought of true love is hilarious. Let's be honest, it doesn't even exist...Right?
Wrong.
When Jack meets Gabriella, his whole player lifestyle is turned upside down as he tries his hardest to get her attention. He feels a totally different attraction to her, he doesn't want to just use her, he wants to keep her, he actually wants to be labelled the title of being a 'boyfriend', of being her boyfriend.
So when Jack realises that his whole player reputation is what is driving Gabriella away, he requests the help of his best friend Alice to help him change and to help him prove himself worthy of Gabriella's love and attention.
But along the way, his love, focus and attraction gets mixed up and now he doesn't even know which girl it is that he truly loves and which girl he wants to prove his worthiness to. How will he decide...but when he does make his decision, is it too late? Has he pushed the one girl he's ever truly loved too far?
Let's face it, someone's going to get their heart broken...question is, who will it be?
It started off with two best friends: Alice and Christie. They say that opposites attract and that was the only way to describe their friendship. Alice was clever, Christie... not so much. Christie was fashionable, whereas Alice wore skirts and knitted V-neck sweaters. Alice was small, Christie was tall. Alice was a normal beauty, Christie was an exotic beauty. You can see that they really are opposite. Too opposite.
One thing that you should do: misters before sisters. But Christie and Alice never heard the phrase ever, as they let one boy come between them: Daniel, who was Christie's other best friend. As they both chase for the boy, only one becomes successful and the whole friendship is ruined. With pranks, spying, lies, boys and secrets, the girls really can't go back to best friends. And they drift away further as Matthew, Christie's ex who she still likes, enters the picture. You'd expect it to be a happy ending with Christie and Matthew getting back together right?
Wrong.
With Daniel chasing after Christie, he realises that Alice and Matt are distractions. So he creates the perfect plan that'll stop the two ex lovers to ever cross paths. But can Alice and Christie both get their happy endings? Maybe they'll have to put the enemy thing beside and work together. Maybe they still could be best friends.
Okay, so maybe not best friends.

This is my first ever book so don't judge. I'm not changing it because it's my first.
Dedicated to my gals who've been by my side when I went through a similar journey. Love you guys!!!! Also dedicated to the girl who Alice is based about. She gets on my freaking nerves, but still. Without her this book may not have even got here.
