Maria Smithstone is your average girl in the 60's; long skirts, bright red lipstick, bottles of pop and the obnoxious curls that spring up at the end. But as her family starts having money troubles, things swiftly go downhill from there. She is forced to move into the 'hood', her father not able to keep them in their average house. Maria had heard tons of scary stories about the greasers who lurked around at night. But Maria's mind begins to change when she meets the unlikeliest group of boys with the unlikeliest of names.
