A black kid raised in Newark named Patrick is new at school.He goes through a lot of adversity and in his area he is not safe.One day he is caught in a fight at school with a jerk named rob,captain of the football team.He gets pummeled so he joins a karate dojo.He takes lessons from a teacher named master wu,who always internally had a fascination with comic characters.Things seemed bright,however one night his family was watching tv,and they got robbed.Patrick tried to stop them,thinking he could use his "moves", however in the process,his father is sadly killed ,leaving Patrick with his mother to grieve.Patrick then only wants one thing.........vengeance
