Alan Lafway is a space fighter pilot cadet. But during his first mission, an atomic anomaly appeared and damaged his ship. He is blasted far away and lands on a mysterious island with no apparent escape, and he is not alone. The island he is crashed on is inhabited by anthropomorphic animals.
