Aaron Peterson's life has never been easy. His father used to be an infamous engineer, designing countless theme parks across the world. But his career ended when, on the grand opening of his most talked-up amusement park, the Golden Apple Amusement Park, a seven-year-old girl named Lucy Yi is killed on the Rotten Core Roller Coaster. After that, his theme park designing days were over. Two years later, Aaron's mother is killed in a car accident, leaving the family in chaos. The accident affected Aaron's father the most. He isolated himself in the basement, which is strictly off-limits to his kids. Now, a year later, his father's increasingly strange behavior gets even stranger. Aaron has one important question.
