Linnie Rider knows nothing about Hockey. She's never been to a game, doesn't know a single team, and doesn't even understand the rules of the game. Linnie has also never entered a radio contest in her life before. So why on that fateful, rainy summer day did Linnie call a radio station to win a prize to meet the towns beloved Hockey team, The Jaguars? Well, she intended to win the tickets for her best friend Lucie, who is obsessed with The Jags. But what happens when the radio station says the tickets aren't allowed to be given away, that the caller has to be present to meet the team? What happens when Kaleb, a star player for The Jags takes an interest in Linnie? Sometimes life has a way of brining people together in the most unexpected of ways.
Hey guys! I haven't accessed this account in almost three years. I used to have a story on here titled Baseball with the Boys, but I took it down because I want to edit it and make it better. I wrote that story when I was in middle school and my writing has since then improved (Thankfully) and I want the new version to reflect that (Stay tuned!). In the meantime, I wanted to upload this new story I'm working on. Honestly I don't know where this story is heading, but I will be updating it as I write it because I'm hoping to get feedback on it. I hope you like it!
