Aki Nakano has always been special- as the first witch to be born in a thousand years, she has always had high expectations thrust upon her. A growing darkness seeks to destroy her world, seeking to consume her life energy as the final step of its evil plan to establish its own hellish paradise on Earth. Aki has trained to use her powers to keep the darkness at bay, but it grows bolder every day. Seeking to protect the innocent bystanders, she uses her power to teleport herself and the Ghouls away. By mistake, they were transported somewhere she never imagined... the world of her favorite Manga. However, she has bigger fish to fry than worry about being caught up in a fictional world when the Ghouls discover that the members of the Zodiac posses unique life energy as well... energy that can be consumed and used to destroy both worlds.
