- months before Hoseok's birth, his father died from committing suicide (hung himself) and when he was 7, his mother abandoned him at an amusement park. She left him with a snickers bar. Hoseok was placed-and lived-in an orphanage for 10 years. Around the age of 12, he got into dancing. It was his passion... but he kept collapsing everywhere due to his narcolepsy so he took pills that he never needed (placebo). He was diagnosed with Munchausen Syndrome which was developed because of the trauma his mother leaving caused. Hoseok was later hospitalized (in a mental institution) for attempting to commit suicide by overdosing on the pills.
