Hi! I'm Fire-lily. I'm a Princess of the Fire-nation. My mother is Princess Blaire. I have two older brothers Yuki and Kyo, who are the bane of my existence. I'm the Granddaughter of head sage Tiger-lily (you know the one who helped save the world with Avatar Aang) and Prince Cody. My great Uncle Zuko who I call grandpa was the Fire Lord and helped put an end to the 100 years' war with Avatar Aang.

See a few months ago my boyfriend Mark moved away from the Fire-nation because his dad got transferred to the United Republic and to their capital Republic city. I want to go over there so badly because to be with him, but my mother is afraid that I'll get into trouble or something and she'll lose me. Ever since we lost my father, she's afraid to let any one of her kids to go away and do something. But I'm feeling that it's time for this little bird to spread her wings and fly.

And I don't know why but it feels like the city is calling me or something. Grandfather Zuko says that it might be my destiny calling and I shouldn't let anyone stop me from fulfilling my destiny. When the time is right, I'm going to get to Republic City way or another. I know my mom won't be pleased with me when she finds out but I'm taking matters into my own hands no matter what and finding out what this world has to offer.

Water.... Earth... Fire... Air A long time ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. The skies were filled with life and the land with love, but everything changed when the firenation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all the elements could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he disappeared. My grandmother would tell me stories about the great Tenshi, warriors of the skies that stood by mankind vowing to protect when the Avatar failed, but they seemed to disappear as the Firenation spread through the world. Lillian, a young girl from the firenation who's destiny was set before she could walk found herself befriending the young Prince. Her family was falling apart so he was there for her through it all but when Lillian moves away to live with her grandfather, what happens then? Zuko takes action after his banishment to find the Avatar. Lillian takes his side and supports him all the way but what are best friends with secrets? And a big secret at that? Her father... Well he was the very respected General Thorn. Training Lillian and her siblings to be the best of the best. But... Lillian had a secret... A secret that she was cursed to keep to herself. Join Lillian and Zuko on the hunt for the Avatar with a twist, new and odd characters and a steamy love story and some butt kicking action? What else could we ask for? I do not own Avatar the last airbender but only take credit for my OC and my own added plot. I do not own avatar the last airbender, i only own my character and the plot...

*Old Work* "Well, my family have a lot of great benders. Aang, Tenzin, Katara, Kya even my dad was a great firebender with an earthbender mom... I can't understand why I'm not destined to bend. If I have to be honest, it's all I've ever wanted to do. I too wanna make my family proud." I said letting all of that go, and I felt relief in my body. I've never opened up like that, especially not with people my age. "Wow, you're actually capable of saying more than four words." He said and we both laughed. I could see where he was coming from. I was never the one to be good with words. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bore you with the story of my life." I said already regretting how I had rambled just a few moments ago. "No, I'm glad you're finally opening up. It's nice to know the real you." He said and stopped up. I automatically stopped up myself and looked up at him. Into his mysterious eyes, holding more than I could ever be able to explain ************************************************ In this story we follow Kya's daughter, Naomi the nonbender. After Naomi's dad past away, everything has been difficult for her. Kya can't watch her own daughter feel this kind of hurt anymore, so she gets the idea of sending Naomi to Republic City. Makinota was raised just outside the borders of the Northern Water Tribe for the first seven years of her life. When one day, her parents were killed and she was kidnapped by the Fire Nation. I know, its cliche. But being a mixed-blood bender in the current times, and after almost 100 years of war, all Fire Benders are considered monsters. Even the innocent ones. Makinota is just trying to find her old life. Find her purpose. And most importantly, find who she can really trust. But in the end... aren't we all? (Long chapters and irregular updates. Though, I do update and I will keep going. This book in entirely a fountain of unneeded inspiration I can't put anywhere else, and something I do when I get writers block on everything else. Still, thanks so much for reading!) (UPDADE; I'm trying my hardest to figure this out, but until then it's complete and not going anywhere until I can handle my shit. Love y'all!) {All characters and storylines belong to Michael Dante Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko, I only created Maki and the changes I made to fit her into the story.}
