"Belle! Stop running from me!" I look back for a split second to see Jacob running after me, face flushed and hair messy. I look back to where i was running and try to pick up the pace. "Belle, stop!" When i hear the desperation in his voice, the hunger, my heart starts to beat faster. "Get away from me, Jacob!" Its 12 AM, the only light helping me see is from the stars and the moon up above. I look around frantic to find somewhere to hide. I almost lose hope as i see an abandoned house. I run around the other side of the house trying to make sure Jacob doesn't see me. I look around trying to find a way in and see a broken window. I contemplate whether i should continue running or risk running into something even more dangerous inside. I'm not able to make a decision as i hear Jacob close to the house. I move the broken glass out of the way and climb inside. (No, this isn't a twilight fan fiction lmao)

!!!Warning: Is very triggering. Lots of detailed descriptions of abuse*** "The only way out is through." When your life turns into a nightmare and something really horrible happens to you, you believe while it's happening, someone is going to burst in any minute and save you, you picture a loved one or even a heroic stranger; anyone to help you. Just like in every movie, book or tv show. Any minute now, they would come... Unfortunately, in real life, that just doesn't happen. No one bursts in to save you. No one speaks up to stop the horror happening to you. The nightmare continues on uninterrupted and you're forced to live through it, every second, until it's done. And still no one bares witness. Only you, and the one hurting you. NOTE: this is for anyone who has been through trauma and felt trapped, almost enslaved to your abuser....knowing help would not come. And saving yourself was the only option.
