The Kalos Conspiracy oleh Steve-le-Corse

A group of friends register to take part in the Kalos Pokémon League. On their journey, they'll learn how difficult the road to success can be, and what a terrible conspiracy is lurking in their region. With their ambitions challenged and their lives threatened, they'll need to pull together and outdo each other to achieve their goal. The story features material from the video game, anime and manga. But there will also be a lot of new stuff, making this adventure take place in its own unique universe. Some of the license's characters will undergo different development, while others will remain true to familiar territory. Several serious topics will be tackled (but not too violently). This is set in the game universe of Pokemon, with a few twists, people can understand Pokemon, IRL animals aka "natural animals" are also around, and some of them have a few special abilities. Rachel is a happy-go lucky kid with a natural cat named Katie, who can be a bit sassy and grumpy. They both go on an adventure with some new friends, both human and Pokemon. Trouble is stirring in the region of Kalos, their Pokemon and friends get mixed up, people are hurt, (and this is set in a nuzlocke so someone might die), and the most important question of all. What exactly is Team Flare doing?! Well that and where is Rachel and Katie's home region.

Iris has lived in a lab all her life. It's all she's ever known, and all she ever will. Or, so she thought. The lab was a place where Pokemon of all kinds got experimented on [especially Eevee and its evolutions], giving them each a genetic mutation, sometimes for better- and sometimes for worse. Iris was lucky enough to not have a horrible mutation. When Iris finds a small hole in the wall of her room, she looks outside for the first time in her entire life. She is amazed at the lush greenery and realizes how long she's wanted to be free. So she comes up with a plan to get her, and all the other Pokemon in the lab, out of there. NOTE: All characters are Pokemon [except for some humans lol]. The rights to each pokemon go to Game Freak of course, even if each one in this story has been genetically modified.
