First published by Mediterranean Poetry, this short segment, a work of fiction titled, Moonrise Over Oia, introduces Isa, a Los Angeles-based writer haunted by recurring dreams about missing women. After signing up for a series of life-or-death adventures in faraway locales, Isa must now face her own worst fears, and risk everything in order to expose the women's unsolved mysteries and stop the dreams.

" I am sorry!" I apologized sobbing. I mean what else I could have done. He caught me red handed.so the only way out was to cry. It had worked for me for so many times that I have lost count." I didn't know how to tell you. I tried to quit but he manipulated the contract and I couldn't until after five years. "I sobbed harder. He looked at me with an emotionless face. I guess I hurt his feelings pretty badly. "Quit crying like a fucking baby and tell me why you lied to my face each and every morning" he scoffed irritated. Holy mother of motherless goat! "I didn't lie to you. I just...I just didn't tell you." I slapped myself for that outrageous statement. It doesn't make a difference. I shrugged and looked at him. Meet Sharon who experienced both kinds of love. With one man, she felt love and abundant safety and with the other she had to experience the most humiliation of her life. From here on, it's not about "what" she finds, but "how" she finds herself. Left behind is a short story that tells about a successful woman who's destiny is different than what she thought. Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
