Matthew Herlock. That's his name. The quiet kid in the corner, a nose in a book, and never into trouble. He was a cute kid, tons of girls liked him even though they would never admit it.

This is a story about a kid who deals with depression, anxiety, an extreme overdose of gay, and a bunch of condoms in his drawer. Or so they say.

Nathan Eriksson, a closeted bisexual with overbearing internalized homophobia slowly falls for the outspoken gay man on campus, Graham Eide after running into him, quite literally in the Hall 28 stairwell, an awkward accident resulted in them interacting face-to-face for the first time in over a year, noticing each other nonstop around campus and outside afterward as if the universe was somehow bringing them together as friends- maybe more. A year prior, during Graham's first year of college, word got out that he was gay, and it quickly spread around campus due to Megan Fujikawa-Katz, a girl with a popular campus gossip blog, getting a hold of the information, and her best friend, Nathan Eriksson, twisting the knife further by encouraging and participating in verbally harassing Graham relentlessly. Sure, never getting physical, but not in a hurry to stop anyone from hurting Graham. But after a while, he slowly forgot about Graham, of course, he was in the back of his head, not for any weird reason, but how anyone would think about someone they "Disliked." But to his surprise, after an entire year had passed since then, Nathan on his way to work on an art project outside during a crisp fall day, trips and stumbles over someone sitting on the dormitory stairs, thudding down the rest of the cement steps down to the bottom, his eyes blurred before finally focusing on the person standing over him, watching their long brown hair hanging in front of their face as they bent down to see if he was okay. An annoyed scowl slowly emerged on Nathan's face after realizing who it was.

It's filled with plot holes, grammar errors, and everything else under the sun that makes a bad story. It pains me to reread it but it's like my own writing history so I don't want to take it down. Also it talks about religion so if any of these things may trigger you then I recommenced not reading this. However feel free to talk to me because I'm hear to support y'all. 16-year-old Matthew is on the lengthy journey of self-acceptance and discovery. How will he cope with a rising taste for a blonde boy who managed the earth on his fingertips like crushed berries. Will he learn to love himself? Or will he allow his doubt to control him and his sprouting relationship? I Liked Blue Better
[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Maybe more days if I'm not busy or I'm motivated to do so. ⚠️ TW ⚠️ -boyxboy (shouldn't be a warning smh) -suicidal thoughts -self harm (cutting, etc) -no smut, probably fluff though -throwing up I didn't take the photo in the cover. Matthew Amoré moves to Venice Italy to find himself thrown into a spiraling relationship with a blonde kid that saves him from bullies. All the while battling depression, his feelings, and a new job, Matthew also has to tackle one big object...telling his boyfriends homophobic father that they are in a relationship. The outcome of it could either end with the happy ending that he's always wanted or the game over that he never wanted to have to experience. (A/N) Alright guys, so I started writing this when I was about 14 years old, so basically most of the chapters are pretty standard for a 14 year old. But, I took a break from writing for a while to work on my skills. I'm 17 now and I have improved a lot and I think that shows in the final three chapters of this story.
