After the events of Avengers: Endgame, those who remained stood strong, ready to take on any threats that might still plague the shaken Earth. They figured they could continue the work of the Avengers Initiative and sought out those who harmed the innocent.
They found none. Every threat was scared out of their wits after having seen how they had dealt with any threat that had risen. They knew better and retreated to the shadows.
So those who could managed to settle down. They started families of their own, living the closest thing to normal lives they could possibly live, letting law enforcement and vigilantes take the threats that didn't call for a legitimate super team. Those who were somehow able to start up their own families did their best to give their children the lives they never got a chance to live.
But evil is growing restless, and a dormant enemy that has been neutral far too long has awakened. The world calls for the Avengers, but there are none to answer. Who does? The answer to a simple question is a simple answer...
Their children.
Follow the children and descendants of all your favorite heroes and heroines as they discover love, hate, war, and themselves, and see if they can survive the encounter.

Knowing that Steve is alone, however? It worries her. Not everything Hydra did had a specific purpose. Sometimes they tortured people and ruined lives just because they could. The kidnapping of Joana Kegley served no greater purpose than to help break in their newest experiment. Before her boyfriend went to war, Joana was a simple girl who helped her elderly grandmother run a clothing store. After her boyfriend went to war, she became something of a small town hero. A woman came to her personally to tell her that her boyfriend, Bucky Barnes, and her best friend, Steve Rogers, had both died bringing down Hydra. It wasn't long after that when she was plucked off the street like some stray cat and chained to a chair like a dog on a leash, where she learned that Bucky had endured something worse than death and that she was there to help them break him. Nothing she did could stop the turn of events that took place as the years rolled by. She hardly noticed that neither one of them aged. It wasn't until Hydra fell and she was still locked away, somewhere in the deep pits of some underground facility, that she realized how much the world had changed. Bucky Barnes remembered very little outside his own name, but he remembered a girl. He remembered a girl with a voice of reason, who spoke only the truth to him, who wanted nothing more than to keep him safe from himself. The Soul World
When half the universe turns to ashes, all hope seems lost for the Avengers. Only Dr Strange knows what fate lies ahead, but he is nothing but dust in the breeze.
