If you're wondering what time this story takes place it's during the recording of Hysteria. However, the characters in this story do have cellphones, so there is the internet and other tech things from today. But other than that, as far as fashion and what's cool is concerned, it's the typical 80's era.

The geographical location isn't very specific but so far, with what little bit I've written about it, it's mostly based off of Los Angeles.

Both the reader and Sav are in their mid-twenties, although since it is a reader/Sav fic, the reader can be seen as whatever age you want.
