McKenna Jones was just emerging into high school as a freshman with the belief that everything would go smoothly. But when her best friend comes back abruptly from her study abroad in Italy, her world is turned upside down as she discovers she is not the same person she knew when she had left.
McKenna then battles with herself on whether she is over her or not but with Anya's new persona and sense of maturity, she finds herself wanting to explore more about her.

Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian.
