Lux Stone has many problems, and being dead is just one of them. He's not sure what to make of what seems to be the end of the world, with dead people rising and wreaking havoc all over the globe. He's never even met another zombie before, let alone one that seems to be just a mindless beast with only one thing on their mind: to feed. Which, honestly, wouldn't be so disastrous if their diet didn't consist solely of living flesh.
What's almost worse than the monsters roaming around are the survivors flocking to his side, craving safety in numbers. Really, the only thing he cares about is keeping his dog, Chewbarka, safe from harm, but all that changes during one fateful meeting.
Just who, exactly, is this handsome, strange boy that kickstarts his dead heart like it's nothing? And why does he seem so familiar?
