The Last Wordsmith

12 parts Ongoing

Genre: Dystopian/Fantasy/Mystery/Philosophical Fiction Description: In a future where words are vanishing from existence, humanity faces an eerie silence. The phenomenon, known as Lexical Erosion, causes overused words to fade from memory and underused words to be forgotten forever. To control the chaos, governments enforce strict word quotas, rationing speech like a precious resource. Amidst this decaying world of silence, one woman defies the inevitable-Erya, the Last Wordsmith. Gifted (or cursed) with the ability to remember lost words, she becomes the last keeper of language, hiding in an underground library where forgotten words still linger. But every word she recalls comes at a cost: another disappears, never to return. When a desperate young man named Sol seeks her help to recover his sister's forgotten name, Erya is forced to make a choice-continue preserving words in secret or risk unraveling the very fabric of language itself. As she journeys through a world on the brink of total silence, she uncovers the true reason behind the disappearance of words... and the terrifying choice that awaits all of humanity. In a story that weaves mystery, philosophy, and the power of language, The Last Wordsmith is a haunting tale of memory, loss, and the desperate fight to hold onto the essence of human expression before it fades forever.
