Chris was running away from his past because his actions may have lead someone to commit suicide; at least that was what he thought. He is covering what he truly is by being top law student and a good nephew. But is that enough to minimize the guilt?

"I didn't want a fight." I look down in my lap sadly, "That's one of the reasons why I didn't want to tell you." Chris walks over and sits next to me.
