McKenzie Lou, the girl that seems to radiate with sunshine wherever she is. The girl that went out of her way to make others happy. The girl that never put herself first. The girl that wanted her own happiness. The girl that's broken.

For the last 16 years of living, all she's felt was pain, guilt, sorrow. Ever since birth, her and her father have suffered through abuse. Though at the age of 7, her father left her with a monster of a human being. The woman that called herself a mother.

So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. But when the one person she's always wanted admits he wants her, too, she's forced to make a choice. Should she go for the boy she just met or the boy she's always known?
