I'm Maria Richards, and I'm sixteen. This may be cliche, but I'm also pregnant.
To protect my boyfriend, I ran away. Nathan is almost twenty, and could get in trouble, for not only having sex with me, a minor, but for impregnating me in the process. My legal guardians, also my aunt and uncle, don't understand my love for Nathan, and wouldn't hesitate to press charges. After seeing-through that Nathan is locked away, they would kick me and my unborn child out to live with my mother, and that just can't happen.
I know running away is a bit dramatic, and harsh on Nathan's side of things, but he'll still be there when I get back. He will hopefully understand that I left for the safety of both him and our child.
2 years later I return to Westbrook, Wisconsin, but this time my name isn't Maria Richards, but Delilah McCurdy. Nathan's friend, Alan, is the only one who knows that it's really me, and Nathan starts driving himself a little insane... Or a lot insane with my resemblance to his not-so-missing lover.
But am I still his lover? Will he forgive me?
One can only hope.
But does he still love me?
