Miles Morales should have learned from Hannah Montana that you should never, ever mix your secret identity and your personal life together.
So, of course, he just had to go and fall head over heels for a cute girl at school. And, okay, maybe he took advantage of her admiration for Spider-Man and used it as a way to talk to her. Maybe he got the courage to talk to her without the mask, too, and quickly built a friendship that might evolve into something more.
But, as he quickly learned, when you're flirting with a girl as both yourself and your vigilante alter ego, things can get a little bit messy.
Man, he should have watched Disney Channel more.
(This takes place after Into the Spider-Verse and before Across the Spider-Verse, so it does not contain ATSV spoilers!)
"You do know how to eat a burger, right?"
Summer rolled her eyes, looking up at him with feigned exasperation. "Of course I do," she retorted, then lowered her voice as she leaned in, her expression shifting to one of genuine concern. "Do you think they have a fork and knife? So I can, you know... cut it?"
