Once upon a time, there was a stone. Dark blue in color with a heart of its own, and powers unknown. The flash of red within, humming it's own tune. No one knows who created it. Or how it came into existence. Yet it's powers allure a few. Those who know about it. Held it for a moment. And felt the power surge through their veins.
The world is not the same, since the plague, recession, and downfall of the economy. Rich and powerful live in colonies now, away from the locals. The locals live on the remaining bits. In the small town of Oll, with a population of two hundred and sixty-eight locals, Ray lives with his brother. They are Finders, they hunt for supplies to keep the town running.
On one of his hunts, Ray is gifted a stone by a stranger. Since the first contact with the stone, Ray constantly sees a girl in his dream and his world changes forever. He is certain she is real, just that he hasn't met her. Not yet or has he?

A World of Another Kind
This story, written by Aubrey and Kaylee, is a fanfiction based off the ABC studios, Once Upon a Time tv show created by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.
