Kik Marshall has always been an outsider ever since her eighth grade year and onwards into high school with the exception of her two friends, Shukila Tearm and Tyler Picket. While her brother and sister have already adapted well in this new environment, Kik was struggling. She became a so-called troublemaker and has to make it through high school without telling anyone who she really is, if they don't already know. So, she decided to become a nobody. To become forgotten. And she remained as such until one of the trio's old friend, Matthews Lani, get transferred to their school as well as be assigned to be Kik's new spectator after she got in trouble. All while this is happening, Kik gets forced to get him and the popular girl together or her secret will be out. At first, she was fine with this until she starts to develope feelings for him, as well as Shukila and Tyler. I stutter "You thought you could move here and I wouldn't find out who you were?" He cocked his head to the side walking closer to me, as I started backing up "You thought you could hide the fact that she's my kid?" He pointed to the house "She's not y-your-s" I stutter more and my back hit the door as he climbed my steps "Don't lie to me now Lesy" he mocked using my old nick name. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.
