Some ghosts never leave. Others were never dead to begin with. Zack thought leaving Atwood, Colorado, meant the end of the world. Leaving his best friend and a life he had always pictured for himself. But he gets a call that Hannah, his childhood best friend, is dead, he's pulled back into a town that's colder and more haunted than he remembered. What starts as a search for closure spirals into a nightmare of hidden rooms, shattered truths, and a darkness that lives beneath the surface of everything and everyone he once trusted. Hannah's voice still calls to him in dreams. Her diary holds secrets no one was meant to read. And the deeper Zack digs, the more he realizes: this wasn't just a death. It was a cover-up. With the help of Lily, sharp, relentless, and just as haunted, Zack sets out to expose the monster behind it all. But in a place where power protects the guilty and the past won't stay buried, justice comes at a price. Because the truth doesn't just hurt. It hunts.
