Plot: Boundary School for the Gifted; a boarding school for "gifted" and "special" children, allowing for said children to "develop needed social skills to live on this planet successfully." Alyssa Briggs, a confirmed child prodigy since age 9, is a special case. Able to read at age one and developing molecular theorems at 11, she is not considered "normal." especially after a suicide attempt at age 16. after lots of phyciatric visitors and a lengthy hospital stay, she is sent home to pack up her things and get on a bus heading strait to Boundary, Alaska: right on the edge of the Canadian border. Follow Alyssa Briggs on a journey of baby wolves, lost left socks, and recovery as she discovers the reason she was sent to Boundary in the first place, and meets people who could make or break her. (Warning: contains mention and possible flashbacks of eating disorders and self injury... Do NOT read this, or at least skip parts, if this might trigger you.)
