Description: A depressed high school boy named Max meets a new girl named Emma. He is left wondering why this new girl in town is so desperate to be his friend. He soons finds out they have a lot more in common than he thinks.

He was told that when he goes to high school, he's going to get beat up. He was scared so much he started puking when August came along. The only friend he has is Zoey, other people don't like him. He really didn't want to go to high school until he saw a boy the first day of school that he saw at the mall, he was so perfect. He looked a little older, maybe by a couple of years.
