Serena Torez had always been a bit odd but it wasn't till she was walking home one night that her whole world became nothing but a long lost paradise. She wakes up to meet Alvyn, a mysterious man as hard as ice yet strangely as comforting as a soft snow falling on a December day, he speaks of fairies and shows Serena this odd new world of ice and power. Her past and present must collide to bring this new land to it's glory once more and save everyone from both worlds all the while she must face dark secrets from her past. Will she be fall for the mysterious stranger? Will she save her new ice home and all the creatures living there?

"If you are to be my wife, why shouldn't I look?" She asked with feigned innocence. I glowered. "I thought you didn't want to be a toy?" Her eyes narrowed, a smile pulling at her lips. "Oh Brin, I would not be the toy..." she trailed off, roving over my body. Heat developed at my core and I squeezed my legs together, speed walking away from her. She had to be messing with me. -- My lips were almost touching hers, as though something magnetic continued to pull us closer. I had no words. I was no longer angry with her. I was consumed by her. -- Brin waited for this day to come. The day she would meet her human bride. She imagined a beautiful encounter, love at first sight, a magnetism like no other, but her future bride, the warrior princess, Alvena, had a much different view. Fae and humans were not alike.
