The reactor of the city will spread out energy, but the gang of BioWrek confusingly wanted to stop it. Wonder why? Story of a girl named Tori will tries to save the world leaning on her obsession, even with the reactor she is interested in the most, but must try to find out why BioWrek wanted it. |WATTYS 2022 WINNER - HORROR| Shawn, a convicted criminal, never thought she'd see the sun again, let alone call another star system her home. When she's offered an out from her prison sentence, she embarks on a dangerous interstellar expedition along with 18 of Earth's most intelligent criminals. Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. [][][] This was originally my entry for the 2021 Open Novella Contest, and it received an honorable mention! It has now been expanded into a full length novel. I used prompt number 53: "When wildlife starts rampaging, all the humans are forced underground. However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface."

She soon finds herself involved with an investigation into a major threat against London and the Internet itself. Unprepared, and under huge pressure to catch unknown terrorists, Em starts to doubt whether she's cut out for secret government work. Things go from bad to worse when the terrorists realise she's close to uncovering their plans, and she's confronted with a nightmare from a past life she thought she'd forgotten. ***This is a cyber/techno mystery thriller with a touch of fanfic something else too. It covers a little about analysing data, neural networks, super computers and low-tech cyber terrorism.*** Also, it's my first attempt at writing a book. There's going to be about 30 chapters and 80k words of this, and I'll be adding new chapters to Wattpad as soon as they're "ready". By this I mean readable, but not perfect. The alien takeover could have ended more violently, but there's irony in how efficient and peaceful Earth has become a hundred years later. Corporations still reign supreme, but aliens lie at the top of the social ladder. Azareans they call them, overlords who've constructed a new kind of city for the modern world. The Eden: a modern megapolis. Accustomed to life in the modern city, Jessica has learned to embrace challenge when it comes her way. Without a cause, she confides in her three friends or smacks into boredom. And when she seamlessly cracks an uncrackable corporate security algorithm, nothing makes sense. Faced with world-turning revelations, the life she's led seems trivial next to a hundred-year lie and tragedy.

She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!)
