And the others were to follow suite.

Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? Written: May 10th, 2017--June 22nd, 2017 reposted from my AO3, anonemones; contains both part one and part two. After a year of living on the surface, monsters and humans have gotten along well, with (mostly) everyone adjusting to the many changes without much trouble. However, events take a strange turn when Sans and Papyrus--both of whom have been acting unlike themselves--go missing, supposedly without a trace. In their place are two monsters who go by the names of Wingdings and Aster, twins, claiming to be the lost Royal Scientist. Everyone is thrown for a loop, especially as nobody remembers a Wingdings or Aster--or, as they claim to be, "Dr. Gaster"--nor do they remember a Royal Scientist before Alphys. And with Sans and Papyrus missing, things don't look good for either of the boys. As their friends search for the missing skeletons, Wingdings and Aster work together to uncover what's happened while they were gone, as well as what might've caused everyone to forget them in the first place. But, trouble lurks within the shadows, as the Void closes in on them once again--refusing to let go of what belongs to it. And unfortunately, the Void is not the only thing after the boys' lives.Complete

You don't know why or how they're connected to you, only that their name is Kris and they might be the answer to everything. There's something wrong with the timeline. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). This is the story of Undertale. Everything goes along perfectly normal like it does in the game, with Asriel and Chara meeting, they make the pie for their dad, he recovers from the flowers, Chara dies... Though there is a change. When Asriel goes to the surface to lay Chara's dead body on the flower bed in the middle of the human village, and he gets attacked, he turns back before he dies. And this one, simple, turn of events, changes everything Okaay so, this is an old book. Nearly two years now, tho I don't remember the exact time I started it. Thing is old me didn't know how to write stories very well, and so in my supposed free time starting in a week or two I'm gonna try to edit this so I can feel a lil better about it.
