No one knows where they come from or who they are but recordings of their sightings stretch back thousands of years. 'Puer de Tenebris', 'Niño de Ojos Sombra', 'Shadow Beings' they have been called many things over the years, but one thing that has stuck in all the myths and legends has been their deep, soulless black eyes. Growing tired of the mundane nothingness of everyday life as a police officer in a remote part of the Cumbria countryside, Richard considers a new life. That is until everything changes one day. Tasked with solving a mystery like no other, Richard is forced to grow and change to the ever-evolving situation. The unknowns of the Black Eyed Children begin to plague Richard's mind until one day, tearing at every sinew of his good-natured soul, it is finally his time to face life's ultimate and final dilemma.
