Sinopsis.
Stella es una mujer adulta que ejerce como médica en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia. Víctor, al igual que ella, ejerce como médico, pero en la ciudad de Stralsund, Alemania. En medio de una convención medicinal, estos dos profesionales de la salud se encuentran e intercambian algunas palabras. Las suficientes para establecer un equipo de trabajo en el que comenzarían juntos una investigación para encontrar la cura del Lupus o al menos intentar descifrar un poco mejor su comportamiento. Sin embargo, por cuestiones de distancia, comienzan a comunicarse a través de cartas escritas a mano y es así como también empiezan a forzar lazos de amistad y confianza entre ellos. Con el paso del tiempo estas interacciones toman partida en la vida amorosa de los personajes y un apasionado y fuerte amor a distancia comienza a crearse.
